Romans Reading Plan

This sermon series through the book of Romans includes a daily reading plan to help us explore "the greatest letter ever written" and corresponding passages of God's Word. Let's travel down the Romans road together, and discover the power of the Gospel in our lives!

Weekly Reading Plan

May 28 - June 2

All passages are linked to the corresponding Scripture on BibleGateway, and will open in a new tab.

Pastor Justin will be out of town next week (6/3), and Reverend Keith Hamilton will be preaching (but not on Romans!).

We encourage you to take an hour at some point this week and read through the entire book of Romans (or perhaps break it down by sections in the thematic outline of the book, and read a section or two a day).

Outline of the Book of Romans

Introduction (1.1-17)

  Sin (1.18-3.20)

God’s righteousness revealed in condemning the whole world.

  Salvation (3.21-5)

God’s righteousness revealed in saving the world.

  Sanctification (6-8)

God’s righteousness revealed in growing the believer.

  Sovereignty (9-11)

God’s righteousness revealed in sovereign plan over human history.

  Service (12-15.13)

God’s righteousness revealed in serving one another in love.

  Conclusion (15.14-16)

We’ll have a day-by-day reading plan available next week, in preparation for Pastor Justin’s sermon on 6/10, on Romans 4:13-25.
