Foundations: Old Testament Overview

Foundations is an 11-week course, offered Sunday mornings 10:45am-noon, and Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8pm.

Talking snakes, a red-headed poet-warrior, and the rise and fall of empires. These details and many more make up the greatest story ever told. In our Foundations class this fall we'll be studying an overview of the Old Testament. Come learn about the content, history, and major themes of the Hebrew Scriptures.

We'll be reading the book "According to Plan: The Unfolding Revelation of God in the Bible" by Graeme Goldsworthy.

This will be an active learning environment consisting of in-class hands on exercises, small group discussion, and teaching as well as optional (but strongly encouraged) take-home exercises and reading.

Our first class, Foundations: Old Testament Overview, begins Wednesday evening September 16, and Sunday morning September 27.
