What should I bring?

A Bible, a favorite pen or two, a dish to share for Friday's potluck, clothes and toiletries, a project or hobby to work on during personal time. We'll provide a folder/book with room for journalling (or you can bring your own!).

A lot of the retreat will be indoors, but there's a unique meeting with our Creator God when we rest in nature, so bring suitable clothes for time outside as well.

If you're spending the night, please bring bedding. (And if you think you'd like a shower, please bring a towel too.)

I'll be there!

Sign up through the link below! There's also an option to sign up to host a table, if that's your thing.

Christmas Tea

December 15   |   2-4pm

The Christmas season pulls us in so many directions. You're invited to come, sit with (and get to know) your sisters, drink some coffee, eat some goodies, and remember the Good News of our Jesus, our God-made-flesh. Jessie Ruffridge, the team lead for Young Lives teen mothers ministry, will be sharing.

What to bring:

  • A plate of Christmas goodies, appetizers, or finger foods to share.
  • An unwrapped gift to donate to Young Lives. (Most of the kiddos are age 5 and younger.)
  • An ornament for exchange ($5 or less) with the other ladies at the tea. (optional, but fun!)

Other things to know:

  • There will be childcare! Let us know during the registration process if you'll be bringing your little one(s).
  • We need table hosts to festively decorate their table, and provide dinnerware and linens for 8. (This could be with your mother's antiques to the cute paper plates you saw at the store last week--festive and welcoming is the goal, not intimidating or overwhelming!)
  • The registration period is November 4 - December 9. Sign up below!

ROAR: Vacation Bible School 2019

Join us June 17-21, 6-8pm, for an epic African adventure.

At Roar, kids explore God's goodness and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers them through this wild life.

  • Experiencing God's Word

At Roar, one memorable Bible Point is reinforced throughout each station, each night—making it easy to apply long after VBS is over. Kids come home with "buddies" that have each Bible Point + Bible verse, to help with long-term memorization.
