Men and Women

Our desire is to have men and women actively involved in learning from God's word and then living that out in every day life.  We have multiple opportunities for this to happen by growing in knowledge of Jesus through Bible studies, Roots Track, and Foundations mini-courses but also living it out in with one another through being part of a Community Group, Discipleship Triangle, or the Apprenticeship Track.

Discipleship Opportunities

Roots Track

Are you seeking to become a healthy disciple-making disciple of Jesus? Join our one-year Foundations Track to root you in God’s Word for the fruit of practicing the truth in community as you continue to learn how to follow Jesus. The commitment is to three 8-week courses that will meet on Wednesday nights from September-April.
  • Course #1: Biblical Story - how the entire Bible fits together to help us know God and how we are called to live in His world
  • Course #2: Biblical Practices - how to walk out the biblical practices God has called us to in His Word
  • Course #3: Biblical Beliefs - to know and love God well through a deeper understanding and belief of the Bible’s major themes (God, the Bible, humankind, sin, salvation, the church, and how the story ends)

Discipleship Triangles

One avenue for discipleship at Peninsula Grace is called a discipleship triangle. These are groups of (wait for it) three guys, or three gals (can be 4 or 5 too) gathering regularly (weekly, bi-weekly), praying for one another, sharing life, digging into God's Word and growing in Christ together!

Want to join or start a triangle?  Click below to email Pastor Justin for more information!

Foundations Mini-Courses

Foundations Mini-Courses are offered during the Spring and Fall semesters where we cover the fundamental principles of the Christian life, theology, and Scripture.

These classes are offered on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30pm.

Apprenticeship Track

Do you desire to grow as a disciple of Jesus? Would you like tools for developing a more intimate relationship with God and learning how to study and share God's Word with others?

The Apprenticeship Track is a two-year program with two main study topics designed for those already serving and fellowshipping at Peninsula Grace.
  1. Focusing primarily on a healthy relationship with Jesus and others done in a highly relational context.
    • Semester 1: Emotionally Healthy Spirituality
    • Semester 3: Emotionally Healthy Relationships
  2. Offering tools to help you know and share God’s Word
    • Semester 2: Knowing God’s Word
    • Semester 4: Sharing God’s Word

The Apprenticeship Track meets on Tuesday nights from 6-8:00pm starting in September.
