Sabrina Harden- Administrative Assistant

My Story

I had the benefit of growing up in a Christian home in Oregon. I accepted the Lord as my savior at the age of 4. As I grew older, I couldn’t remember that event. In 3rd grade, my Christian school teacher shared the gospel through a story in a way that I had not heard before that made salvation through Christ very clear. That day I committed my life to following Jesus.

I wanted to continue to grow in my Christian faith and walk, so I attended Multnomah Bible College and Seminary in Portland, Oregon as a young adult. I learned and grew so much there and made my faith my own. Also, I met my husband, Jim, at Multnomah. After we were married and Jim finished his aviation mechanic’s certification, we moved to Alaska to work with Missionary Aviation Repair Center.

We have been here almost 25 years. We have two children that were born and raised here. Jim is still in the aviation repair business. I have had the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom and was able to homeschool the kids from start to finish.

As I enter a new chapter in my life, this job has been a gift from God. It fits my skills, personality, and passions very well. I am surrounded by fun and encouraging staff members where I find myself smiling and laughing for most of the workday.

Fun Facts about Sabrina: I enjoy making crafts that I have seen on Pinterest. I enjoy the outdoors through walking, kayaking, photography, and soaking up the sunshine. My body wakes me up in the middle of every night to eat a snack due to my low blood sugar condition.

MY HEART FOR THIS ROLL:

I want the people that I encounter to know that a relationship with Jesus makes a difference in everyday life. The Bible has the answers to ALL of life’s situations - 2 Peter 1:3. Knowing Jesus through reading and studying the Bible is essential and I get to help others be informed about opportunities to do that at Peninsula Grace.
