Children's ministry

We believe that you're never too young to know how much you're loved. It's the goal of our Children's Ministry, as we partner with our families, to raise up the next generation of believers with a solid foundation in the Truth of the Bible, and a life-changing knowledge of the person of Jesus Christ.

Our Sunday morning classes and Wednesday night programs are designed to be engaging, safe places where our kids (preK-5th grade) can learn and understand more about our God through games, crafts, and Bible study.

For infants and toddlers, we have a nursery and a 2s and 3s classroom, providing a fun, age-appropriate learning environment for our littlest church attenders.

We'd love to hear from you with any questions or concerns. Please talk to Janel Elliott, our Children's Ministry Coordinator, or give the front office a call (907-252-8468).

9AM Service & 10:45AM

Sunday Mornings

Children of every age are always welcome in the Worship Center for our 9am and 10:45am corporate worship services.

We have a Cry Room located in the back of the worship center with a live feed of the service for those mamas who would like more privacy while nursing, or if a little one just needs to get a lot of wiggles out.

At both our Sunday services:

Our kids classes are located in Sonshine Park and the Youth Center (the smaller of our two buildings). Nursery is available for ages 6 months - 2 years at the start of the service. Older kids, grades five and down, will be dismissed after a song or two. (We think it's important that our kids get a taste of "big church!")

We have several classes for our preschool kids, and grades 1-5 meet together for a time of worship, study, and discussion. We utilize the Gospel Project for our school-aged kids.

6:00 - 7:30 PM

wednesday Nights

Everyone is invited to dinner before classes start! Our Wednesday night meal ministry is donation-based, and intended as a blessing to those attending Wednesday classes--a chance for a home cooked meal and time with our church family.

Like our Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights offer different classes for different ages, as we partner with parents in the discipleship of their children.

Questions???

Do I need to sign in my kids?

Yes please! We ask that parents sign their kids in (in the Fellowship Room in the Worship Center), prior to bringing them next door to class--your child's safety is a priority for us, and nametags/numbers help us make sure the precious little folks go with the right big folks, and if there's any problems mid-service, you'll see your child's assigned number displayed above the screen in the worship center.

My child has allergies!

No problem! When you sign in your child, we can add allergies (or anything else their teacher might need to know) to their information, which will print right on the name tag. We have gluten-free snacks available. (If your child has a different restriction, and you're able to pack a different snack for them, that would be helpful.)
