I was born in Louisiana, and grew up in Alberta, Canada, Alaska, Texas, and Dubai U.A.E. with my parents and six siblings.

While living in Alberta, at the age of 9, I was saved at Camp Wapati summer camp.

In 1985, when I came back to Alaska, I met my would-be husband Greg at Kenai Grace Church. We were married in 1986 and have six children--four boys and two girls.

I graduated from high school in 1983 and the went to college for two years. When we started to have children, I became a stay-at-home mom and schooled all of our kids.
